1966 GREW 18' COMMANDER CRUISER
Grew boats operated in Ontario Canada from 1907-1989. This 1966 Grew 18' Commander was purchased new by the current owner's father and has stayed in the same family since purchase.
Hull
The keel is laminated oak with pre-shaped white oak battens for bottom bracing. The ribs are full length white oak at 6" on center. The transom is double planked mahogany. and the hull is 3/8" 5 ply marine mahogany planking. The boat was taken down to bare wood in 2007-2008 and re-stained.
Engine
Original 4-cylinder 110hp Volvo Penta engine that is well maintained. Has 1260 hours on the motor and will require a new exhaust manifold. (May be changed prior to sale.) Also has a Volvo Penta outdrive.
Interior
The interior was refreshed in 1997. Flooring has been changed from original.
Hardware
All original hardware is included.
