This is one of 81 of this model built between 1957 and 1960. Owner has totally restored this boat to like new condition in 2012 and continuing to now - it needs nothing.
Structural restoration included new bottom in multi-layer Okume (Mahogany Plywood) bonded with 3M-5200 marine adhesive and painted with Interlux Micron SC bottom paint. Hull sides replaced with Philippine Mahogany over White Oak frames and painted with Interlux Brightside White. Deck was removed and Okume Plywood underlay installed with Teak Deck with Mahogany varnished trim. Interior was totally restored retaining the mahogany cabinetry etc. Floor is Cherry with sikaflex seams. Rear deck is Teak with sikaflex seams.
Operational equipment includes: 115 Volt AC Shore Power with 30 A receptacle, 12 Volt DC Ship's System, 2-12V Distribution Panels, Xantrex Inverter and Dual Batteries and switches. Has 1000L Fuel Tanks, 140 Liter Fresh Water Tank and 140 Liter Waste Water Tank. Interior is equipped with a full Galley with new Sink, Microwave and Alcohol Stove. The Head includes new Sink & Counter, Jabsco Head, new Shower with Mosaic Sassi Premium glass tiles. There is also a Dometic Reverse Air System under the forward Berth.
Engines are newer GM 5.7L 260hp V8's with Velvet Drive Transmissions. All new Electrical wiring and upgraded running gear. Length is 40'.0" Beam is 12'.0" and Draft 33" Free board is 68" Fwd and 48" Aft. Weight is 15,000 lbs dry. Fuel capacity 200 gallons, Fresh Water 35 gals.
