Formerly owned by Horace Dodge Jr., the U-17 My Sweetie John Francis is a remarkable step hull hydroplane. Constructed by Les Staudacher in late 1953, by John Hacker's design, this boat, named after Dodge's son, made its racing debut in 1954. It's equipped with an Allison engine and weighing approximately 4,600 pounds when fueled and ready to conquer the waters, My Sweetie John Francis is a captivating blend of history and performance.
