Chris-Craft
1948 CHRIS-CRAFT 22' CUSTOM SEDAN
Jitterbug is a 1948 Chris-Craft 22' Custom Sedan that was acquired 5 years ago by the current owners. They've had it stored year-round in a boat house on water and consider the boat their "Daily driver."
Hull sides / Deck:
Hull sides and deck show well and are 90% original.
Bottom:
The bottom is an original soak bottom that has been soaked up for the last 5 years. The boat is used frequently but hasn't been taken out of the water in that time. Bottom replacement would be advised.
Engine:
The original Chris-Craft 'M' series engine was replaced in 2008 by Alan Thomle with a Mercruiser Competition Ski 5.7L 265hp inboard engine providing modern reliable power. The engine has 200 hours on it.
Interior:
The interior was completely redone in Carson City Nevada, and shows very well. A new headliner was installed in 2022 by Michaels Custom Upholstery in Tacoma Washington.
Options:
Comes with a weighted custom mooring cover, spotlight, fire extinguisher, engine box halon system, and a Heater Craft 4 vent unit (installed in 2020).
Trailer:
Includes a 2004 tandem axle galvanized EZ-Loader trailer, equipped with brakes.
