1941 Plymouth Woody Wagon

If you’re looking for an extremely rare, all original, completely restored woody
wagon that will be a joy to own look no further. This fine example of a 1941 Plymouth Woody Wagon, P12 Special Deluxe has a very interesting California History. It was the original ‘Hack' that brought guests from the train station in Placerville, California to the Shadowridge Ranch & Lodge back in the day! (Currently called the Davies Family Inn). You can still see a ghost of a logo on both the drivers and passengers side doors! It was also owned by the founders of the retail giant 'The GAP' and was used at their Perry Creek Winery to take guests into town.

Mechanical:

The 87 HP engine (freshly rebuilt) runs strong and will cruise all day long on Firestone, vintage white walls with all correct, original, and fully restored running gear. Featuring fresh brakes, master cylinder, a new clutch installed and a transmission rebuild that was completed in May 2022.

Body:

The body and paint are in exceptional shape. The wood is 95% original with a lovely, cared for, and beautiful patina. The entire grill, headlight bezels and iconic hood ornament were recently re-chromed (in 2022).

Interior:

The dashboard and instruments have been recently refreshed. It has a 6 Volt (positive ground) electrical system with original working radio and heater.

Estimates are that there are less than 30, 1941 Plymouth Woody Wagons currently registered and on the road in the USA. At the last ‘Wavecrest’ Woody Show in Encinitas California, in a field of more than 300 woody’s, this 1941 gem was one of only four Pre-World War Two Plymouths! If you are looking for a unique ride this California Woody Wagon this is your dream car!
