1940 19' CHRIS-CRAFT CUSTOM RUNABOUT
This 1940 19' Chris-Craft Custom is better known in the vintage boating world as a barrelback. One of the most sought after models of pre-war Chris-Craft boats. The boat was originally restored in 1998 by Dave Lobb of Northwest Classic Boats. The boat was put into storage in 2012 and remained there under cover until this spring. It is currently being refreshed with fresh coats of varnish, hardware polishing, engine servicing and a full cleaning of the interior.
Hull:
The hull-sides and decks were cold moulded during the 1998 restoration.
Engine:
Repowered with a Crusader XL 305 V8, the engine has less than 40 hours on it. Prior to delivery the engine will be serviced, including a carb rebuild, water pump impeller replacement, plugs and wires and an oil change.
Interior:
The highly desirable blue faced gauges are present. The green interior shows well.

The original bottom was replaced during the 1998 restoration and is now a cold moulded bottom.
