We'll be unveiling our latest restoration at the Vancouver International Boatshow, a beautiful 1955 Chris-Craft 21' Cobra. If you're in the area make sure to stop by, the show runs from January 31st - February 4th 2024. The boat will be in the Western Canadian Antique and Classic Boat Society booth behind a beautiful Maroon 1951 Mercury Eight Woody Wagon.
The boat has been fully restored to Concours level with no expense spared, to "as delivered" status. We restored the boat with a fully skinned hull and no soak bottom. Fitted with it's original 331 Chrysler Hemi V8 and iconic gold painted Fin it's sure to make an impression.
Originally purchased in 1955 off the show room floor in New York, NY the boat was one of two Cobras shipped to England and spent it's life racing on Lake Windermere in the Lake District. Restored in the 80's and eventually put back into storage the boats wareabouts in the boating community was lost. The family of the long time owner who passed away contacted us in 2018 with an "old Chris-Craft" to sell and wanted to know more about it. Andrew flew over to the UK to inspect the boat and we helped them list the Cobra up for sale with our Brokerage. Rob and Sandi stepped up and purchased the boat with Andrew working exclusivly on the extensive restoration to bring the boat up to show level.
The boat is currently for sale, ready to hit the show circuit or add to your personal collection. Click HERE for more information.
Thank you Rob and Sandi for working with us on this project, we all hope you're as pleased with the boat as we are!
Make sure to stop by the booth at the Vancouver International Boat Show for a chance to see this rare Chris-Craft in person and say "Hi!"
